Abstract

Underwater acoustic sensor networks (UCASN) monitor amphibian environments. Submerged nodes face limited resources, including battery, bandwidth, and mobility, and are affected by temperature and propagation delays. A bio-powered Dolphin Swarm Optimization Algorithm (DSA) is applied to select optimal antennas for data transmission. DSA was simulated in NS2-Aquasim and improved data transmission reliability. © 2022 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
