Abstract

Hybrid wireless networks combine mobile ad hoc and infrastructure networks for improved efficiency. This study implements the Distribute Three-hop Routing (DTR) protocol within hybrid networks to improve base station coverage. Data is segmented into packets for efficient routing. Throughput capacity, scalability, and mobility resilience were evaluated, showing promising results. © 2022 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
