Abstract

Concrete Technology involves proportioning raw materials to produce concrete with desired mechanical, stiffness, and workability properties. Fiber Reinforced Concrete (FRC), including glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC), improves flexural, tensile, and impact strength. GFRC enables structural products like wall panels and work surfaces that are strong, lightweight, and aesthetically pleasing. This article educates readers about emerging low-cost technologies and current GFRC applications. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
