The world is fighting COVID-19, a community-spreading disease. Community screening reduces the spread. A COVID positive patient may show symptoms like fever, dry throat, headache, cold, cough, sneezing, loss of taste, and smell. Thermal screening with infrared forehead thermometers is commonly used in India. The proposed system identifies COVID-19 symptoms of visitors in hospitals or offices using Raspberry Pi with temperature and alcohol sensors. Visitor information from QR-coded corona cards is stored in a database. Doors open after storing information, and alerts are sent for abnormal readings. The Facemask Temperature Sanitization Identification (FTSI) system aids screening. © 2022 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
