Solar energy has become one of the magnificent renewable energy sources of electrical energy since it remarkably preserves the environment through its renewing capability and delivers better performance at low cost. To link the solar PV to the utility grid, a PV connected grid system with switched boost Landsman converter is proposed through the ANFIS based MPPT technique. As the output voltage of PV system is not efficient, it is fed to a switched boost Landsman converter, which offers improved voltage gain with minimized switching losses. Along with the solar PV, a battery system uses a bidirectional Buck-Boost battery converter to balance the power in the proposed model. The proposed converter is controlled using the ANFIS based MPPT technique to track maximum power from the PV system, through which the DC-link voltage is maintained as constant. The output of the converter is fed to the grid through a three-phase VSI, which converts the DC voltage into AC voltage. An LC filter is employed to improve the output of the VSI. Using DQ theory, the switching pulses of three-phase VSI are generated by comparing the reference signal with the carrier signal. Grid synchronization is achieved with a THD of 1.02%. This strategy is implemented in MATLAB and results were attained. © 2022 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
