In this paper, the electric vehicle (EV) battery charge is provided by a grid-linked PV System that allows the charger to consistently charge the EV's battery regardless of the irradiance utilized by the SEPIC-ZETA DC-DC converter and bidirectional converter. As a bidirectional converter to facilitate the charging station, a SEPIC-ZETA converter is employed. PV array creates electricity and charges the EV battery during high sunlight hours, and extra energy may be supplied to the power grid. The EV battery is charged from the grid during low sunshine hours. The system is intended to sense the SOC battery and SEPIC-ZETA converters which may be used to manage the availability of the power grid by connecting or disconnecting the battery. The designed electric vehicle charging system is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink and the system's dynamic response analyzed. © 2022 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
