Abstract

This work proposes a Grid Topological Network Architecture for efficient fault-tolerant wireless sensor networks in smart cities. The system improves energy usage, packet delivery, and response times compared to existing routing methods (RPL, AODV) using Reduced and Highly Compressed Networking Routing and Ad-Hoc On-Demand Vector techniques, enhancing network reliability, scalability, and performance.
