Abstract

This in vitro study evaluated the effect of adding recycled PMMA (r-PMMA) at 10–50% to heat-cured PMMA denture base resin on polishability, translucency, surface hardness, and surface roughness. Results showed increased surface roughness and decreased hardness proportional to r-PMMA content, while polishability and translucency were unaffected. Reusing denture base resin may reduce biomedical waste.
