This pilot study analyzes the impact of COVID-19 lockdown on the lifestyle, psychological well-being, and financial status of dental professionals in Tamil Nadu. An online survey (June 2020) revealed delayed routines, increased indoor activities, stronger family bonding, and significant reliance on savings. Many developed new hobbies and were confident about meeting financial needs post-lockdown. The study highlights the wide-ranging personal and professional impacts of COVID-19 on dentists. © 2022 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
