Abstract

This study evaluates linear dimensional stability of denture base copolymer containing cycloaliphatic comonomer using a novel surface-level index technique (SLIT) versus conventional engraving technique (ET). A total of 120 specimens were analyzed. SLIT showed higher distortion than ET up to 10% comonomer concentration, beyond which no difference was noted. The copolymer with 20% TCDDMDA showed minimal distortion, indicating suitability for improved denture stability and patient comfort. © 2022 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
