This paper proposes a high-gain Sheppard Taylor-fed electric vehicle in a grid-connected PV system. The Sheppard-Taylor converter is used to maintain the voltage of solar panels at a constant. The output of this Sheppard Taylor converter is maintained at a constant with the assistance of the PI controller. During the availability of PV power in the day, the output voltage is directly fed to the three-phase. The induction motor, after converting the DC voltage, is into AC voltage with the aid of a three-phase voltage source inverter. The issues like, an Earth-wide temperature boost, draining petroleum product stores, and ozone-harming substance (GHG) discharges, need critical consideration for guaranteeing a maintainable future. During the nighttime absence of PV power, a single-phase voltage source inverter is employed to run the induction motor. The excess solar panel is fed to the grid through the LC filter. The speed of the motor is maintained constant by using the PI controller. The entire project is validated by using MATLAB Software. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
