Abstract

Modifications are to be done in the software over the period after developed software installed in the client environment. The service continuity with the client and the needs of mandatory upgrades are necessary and the part of the software development process. Maintenance and support will affect in the form of different factors, such as cost of the changes’ accomplishment and problems in terms of technical in software and hardware. These issues will be big challenges for software developers and the client of the software users. These issues considered and trying give comfortable for implementing this system. Attributes of the maintenance and support phases are important role in this process. The intuitionistic fuzzy analytical hierarchy process is used here for finding the important attribute among the maintenance and support phase in software development process. This model may be used to reduce the issues and will give the solutions to both software developers and the software clients. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
