Abstract

To increase the productivity and to overcome skilled labour shortage. Most of the manufacturing industries are going for automation. The mam aim for us to select the project work is to acquire practical knowledge in the field of automation using pneumatic system. To use principles of pneumatic for developing this project work, the oil dipping is done usmg double acting cylinders which controlled by two hand operated finger lever pilot operated 3/2 Directional control valve. This is actuated through the double hand push button for safety purpose. The operating pressure required for the system is 5 to 6 bar. The maintenance required for the system is less than the other systems. It is used for reducing the cycle time of manual oil dippmg. The mam advantages of our project are elimination of man power and increasing, productivity and simple m operation. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
