The seat is an essential component of every vehicle. The purpose of this research was to examine current passenger seats and modify them if needed. Seat adjustments in this study refer to structural changes and material substitutions. To find alternate solution for Stainless steel for Seat structure, we are introducing Aluminium alloy 6061 T6 section to reduce weight and reduce cost. As compared to steel T6 material has less density hence less weight and cost is less. Objective of the project is to reduce weight and cost of seat manufacturing. It will help us to save the energy of vehicle during transportation. Design of seat is always challenges for designer to meet all requirements. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
