Abstract

India, which is also the largest democracy in the world, still holds its elections via Secret Ballet Voting, or Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) with significant expenses and human labor and inefficiency. Fake votes still remain huge electoral disadvantages. The Government in AADHAR CARD has a whole database, including fingerprint and retinal information for us. In the Electronics Voting Machine, biometric finger-printing and web camera are utilized to verify the vote. We created an intelligent voting machine where the user does not have to carry his ID with the necessary data. The polling station requires just the use of a fingerprint scanner to record the face identity in the web camera at the voting stand and allows the voter's identification with an on-site fingerprint and face. These data are transferred to the verification unit. The controller collects the reader data and compares them with the previously recorded data when registering the voters. When the data matches the data of the registered fingerprint and Face in advance, the individual is authorized to vote. Failure to do so would prevent someone from voting on a warning message on LCD and thus warn the voice. The casting mechanism is done using the keyboard manually. The associated messages, alerts, and resulting outcomes are shown in the LCD. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
