Abstract

As the demand for alternative fuel is growing the research on different edible and non-edible biodiesel is also increasing. Here in this research coriander seed biodiesel is evaluated as alternative fuel. Investigation is done on the characteristics of emission gases of coriander seed biodiesel blended with diesel in the ratio of 20:80(B20). The research is done in single cylinder variable compression ratio engine with various loads. The main focus lies on analyzing the impact of compression ratio on emission gases. For this compression ratio is taken as 17.5, 16.5 and 15.5. Coriander seed biodiesel is produced by transesterfication method. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
