The Electric Vehicle (EV) industry is growing in India despite Covid 19 challenges. The scope of this paper is to understand the need for approaches towards range anxiety solutions. It highlights the current development in the standardization principles using lean techniques and how this can help standardization in-vehicle platform architecture and battery of an EV. This review paper analyses the four different case studies in the EV context and justifies how the EV battery pack is the right candidate for standardization. The study highlights the benefits, challenges, and associated factors to address these challenges. The paper concludes how the standardized EV battery pack helps manage the Range Anxiety for many stakeholders in the EV ecosystem in Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Customer (B2C) segments. Finally, the paper highlights the future research scope towards EV Battery Pack Geometry Form Factor standardization. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
