In current scenario, various methods have been identified to reduce emissions and improve efficiency in existing engine model. There are various innovative methods used in diesel engine to improve the working parameters. The investigation of nanoparticle additives added to diesel to increase attributes such as shorter ignition delay, improved burning rate, reaction efficiency, and good cetane number is shown in this work. When biodiesel is blended with fuel additives in a CI engine, it delivers good performance, combustion, and exhaust emissions. Additives help an engine's reliability, efficiency, and longevity by combining with a carefully developed base fuel mixture. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
