The construction sector consumes a large amount of concrete. Sand accounts for approximately 35% of the volume of concrete. Manufactured sand is a by-product and it is a usable substitute for river sand. The manufactured sand obtained from hard rocks by crushing plant. It is also known as M-Sand, Crushed stone sand, Quarry dust, Rock sand, Crushed dust, and other names. The quite exhaustive research has been carried out on using manufactured sand in concrete.
