The paper suggests a technique to use a few switches according to the needs for load correction, Multi- Level Converters (RSC-MLC) were integrated through photovoltaic (PV) systems to increase the DC-link voltage of distribution static compensators (DSTATCOM). Reactive power, imbalance, and harmonics are needed by one stage unstable and nonlinear lots linked to the distribution side but these can be compensated by the suggested method, improving power quality. When necessary, it can also actually supply the load with electricity, keeping the source from becoming overloaded. The voltage can be reduced to its average value during off-peak loads, which will lessen the voltage stress and switching losses. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
