Abstract

Advancements in healthcare technology enable acquisition and management of medical data, but wireless transmission risks tampering. A telehealth framework using padding and Hyperchaotic 2D Logistic-Gaussian Map encryption enhances security of patient data and scan images. Permutation, diffusion, and substitution operations provide robust confusion and diffusion. Comparison with ECC and Chaotic map encryption using MRI/CT images shows improved security, quality, and reliability, reducing misdiagnosis risk in telemedicine. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
