Telepresence robots and the Internet of Things (IoT) are transforming telemedicine by improving communication between doctors and patients. AI-powered robotic assistants facilitate remote consultations, monitoring, and assistance, collecting and analyzing data in real-time. These solutions enable continuous health monitoring, rapid response to changes, and enhanced patient engagement and satisfaction, increasing healthcare efficiency. The results highlight the potential for widespread adoption and further development of AI-enhanced telepresence robots in telemedicine. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
