Abstract

Vitamin E is a lipophilic antioxidant that scavenges reactive oxygen species (ROS) and prevents lipid peroxidation. α-Tocopherol, a key isoform, demonstrates neuroprotective and cardioprotective effects. Clinical trials and randomized studies have evaluated vitamin E for treating Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s, Parkinson’s, and cardiovascular disorders, confirming its protective role against oxidative damage. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
