Due to rising energy demand and scarcity of fossil fuels, the electric vehicle (EV) and renewable energy generation have advanced significantly. At the same time, when EVs are grouped in a charging station, they consume a massive quantity of power, which may have a substantial influence on grid functioning. As a result, putting renewable energy at charging stations is viewed as a possible win-win option. By incorporating renewable energy, charging stations may significantly reduce the amount of electricity consumed from the grid, hence lowering the necessary grid capacity. This study proposes a Novel Integrated Type-2 Fuzzy MPPT Based Boost-Cuk Converter for Grid-Tied PV Charging Station Submissions. Although PV panels have various advantages, they also have certain limitations, such as their reliance on the environment. To address this, an optimal power point-tracking approach based on Type-2 Fuzzy (Type-2 Fuzzy MPPT) has been implemented. Initially, the lithium-ion battery is charged using a smart grid and a PV system. An integrated DC/DC Boost-Cuk converter with a high improvement is utilized to deliver extra power to the grid via a single phase inverter. The proposed method is confirmed using computation with MATLAB 2021a/Simulink software, and the hardware is built with a DSPIC30F4011 controller. In this comparison graph the efficiency of the converter has 93% and MPPT efficiency has the value as 92.6% for Type 2 Fuzzy. © 2024 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
