Abstract
Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA) causes progressive non-scarring hair loss. This cross-sectional study assessed 63 patients using Hamilton Norwood (males) and Ludwig (females) staging. Trichoscopy revealed Hair Shaft Heterogeneity in all AGA patients. Scalp honeycomb pigmentation, brown peripilar signs, and white peripilar signs correlated with disease severity. Focal atrichia also associated with advanced stages. Trichoscopy can guide personalized treatment and prognosis counseling.
