Abstract

This SEM-based study compared 0.2% hyaluronic acid and 24% EDTA as root conditioning agents after scaling and root planing. Both agents effectively removed smear layer and opened dentinal tubules, but 24% EDTA was significantly more effective (p < 0.05).
