Abstract

This study explored the formation of metal complexes of Erlotinib with Cu, Fe, Zn, Mg, and Mn to improve solubility, bioavailability, and overcome resistance. Characterization via UV-Vis, FTIR, and mass spectroscopy confirmed successful coordination. Metal complexation altered Erlotinib's electronic environment, suggesting potential improvements in pharmacological properties and therapeutic efficacy for NSCLC and pancreatic cancer.
